Kecskemét Airshow 2010 DVD

As the major event of the Hungarian MoD, the International Air and Military show took place on the 7th and 8th August 2010 in Kecskemét. During the years this program became one of the five biggest European air shows, the most exciting and visited air show in Central Europe. With their displays the participants not only commemorated 100 years of Hungarian military aviation and 100 years of Hungarian powered aviation and thus increased the prestige of the event, but the proud of the Italian Air Force, the world-famous Frecce Tricolori display team also celebrated their 50th anniversary in Kecskemét.

Frecce Tricolori was not the only foreign participant, since 22 nations took part in the Airshow of Kecskemét. Out of the demonstration teams Turkish Stars, the croatian Wings of Storm, the swiss Patrouille Suisse, the Breitling Jet Team and the polish Iskra team showed their demo programs. Almost 100 000 visitors arrived in Kecskemét to see the fighters of Austria, Belgium, France, Holland, Croatia, Germany, Romania, Switzerland, Spain, Serbia, Turkey, USA, Ukraine, Israel and Hungary. One of the most popular fighter was the Su-27, not to mention Eurofighter, Rafale, F-16, F/A-18 and F-15. The last public flight of the Hungarian MiG-29s was also during the Kecskemét Airshow 2010.
